Dear Customer,
Thank you for being a valued customer and for your continued support.
We would like to inform you that we are planning a migration of our Linux servers, which include the following services:
-
Static Website Hosting
-
MySQL Databases
-
Linux Web Hosting
-
WordPress Hosting
Reason for Migration
CentOS officially stopped providing support in 2025. As the operating system is now deprecated, it has limited software support, unresolved bugs, and configuration restrictions. To ensure better performance, security, and long-term stability, we are upgrading to a new server environment.
New Server Improvements
-
Latest and fully supported operating system
-
Upgraded server configuration with higher RAM and CPU resources
-
Migration from SSD storage to NVMe storage for significantly improved performance
Server IP Details
-
Existing Server IP: 45.114.245.213
-
New Server IP: 94.136.190.169
If your domain uses a custom nameserver or is registered with another service provider and pointed directly to an IP address, you will need to update it to the new server IP after migration.
Planned Downtime
-
Date: 10th January
-
Time: 11:00 PM to 11th January 2:00 AM
-
Expected Downtime: Up to 3 hours
Important Notes
-
There will be no changes to nameservers.
-
If you are already using MotherHost nameservers, no action is required from your side.
-
Our last major server migration was completed more than 5 years ago, and this upgrade is part of our continued commitment to improving service quality.
-
Please note: The existing server IP (45.114.245.213) will be permanently decommissioned and will no longer function after the migration is completed. Any domains or services still pointing to this IP must be updated to the new server IP to avoid service disruption.
If you have any questions or require assistance, please feel free to contact our support team.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
